It involves learners from all over Morocco from Tangier, Marrakech, Casablanca, Raba, Agadir and other cities.
But there is no one from Meknes, where the course has been held, that means the learners’ full-time devotion for the workshop because they all stay in the same hotel; that helps for the time-flexibility of the workshop, and in the same time gives them the opportunity of having lot of fruitful discussions and meetings, as a team, concerning the workshop subjects.
Learners are divided into six groups. Each one is assigned to set the final presentation of what has been learned in an applicable and clear way as well as their comprehension of the spirit of Accelerated Learning, in particular.
“it was unforgettable time" that's what learners have expressed. And it lasted for three days; some of its content:
Sun-learning:
The trainer asked the learners to write down their objectives on the "sun-beams", and the obstacles on the "clouds". Then he encouraged them to find out the ways to eliminate the obstacles; the steps are:
1- Make a sun and its beams out of cartoon, the beam must be wide to be written on, then make clouds, too.
2- When learners enter the class, the trainer gives each table some cards, clouds, and colored pens.
3- They should write down on the cards their desired objectives out of the course, and to paste it on the sun-beams.
4- Then they should write on the "clouds" the obstacles that come in their way, and paste it on the sun-beams.
5- Finally, they were asked as groups to develop ways to eliminate the clouds so their objectives would appear.
Inspectors searching for the truth:
Our educational system might be full of slips of original-imported educational obstacles, so how to search for them. To set the ball rolling, learners are divided into six groups, six in each one.
Each group is asked to specify its own "inspector "then, they are given magnifying glasses and hats of Sherlock Holmes. Each inspector leads his own group to search for the important six education ailments, and each member is given an ailment and tries to give a proper suggestion for treatment.
Second step: learners are searching through the doctor's equipments and present their reports.
Full bags of medicine and therapies have been distributed among the groups so each one is studying possible treatment…
Each treatment should be explained. And The group should send a delegate to present to the whole class what is learned.
FAT32
How to present the driest and the least lively subjects in a more exciting, funny, and significant way?
The answer is through FAT32, Through a test includes the following questions:
1- What are "track", "sector", and "cluster"?
2- Why does the size of the file on the PC differ from its real size?
3- What is Bad Cluster and how to recognize it?
4- What is Free Cluster and how to recognize it?
5- What is FAT 32 (File Allocation table) and how to recognize it?
6- What is the format process of Partition?
7- How do Data-recovery programs restore most of the data on the Partition after it has been formatted?
Learning kitchen:
as an exercise of Accelerated learning Techniques for learning another language.
Learners play " the cafeteria of paradise" game, where they are asked to choose terms from the menu and to give the correct definitions for them; the steps are;
1- A number of paper plates, on which the definitions of the terms are written, have been put on the table. One definition on each plate.
2- Each one gets 5 banknotes (a game)
3- They are divided into groups; each will play the waiter's role and order a term from the menu, and the waiter has to write them down on his card.
4- The waiter goes to the kitchen (to the table of the plates) to bring the plates with the correct definitions .if they match the customers' demands, he returns to give them their orders.
5- Learners together decide if the orders were correct, if they were, students should pay the waiter, if they weren't correct, the case will be in reverse.
6- The game continues till everyone plays the waiter's role.
The exercise of posting cards:
As an example of the whole body “visual, auditory, somatic, and intellectual" learning ,and another one of a powerful reviewing technique, learners play "posting cards" game where they try to find answers to questions hung on the ceiling. The trainer asks them to answer the questions through the information on the postings in the class.
The steps are:
1- Before the beginning of the workshop, postings cards were pasted (colored cardboards with different forms that can be hung from the ceiling.)
2- Trainers are given a list of questions and they try to answer them from the postings.
3- The first one who finds all the answers wins.
4- All answers have been reviewed by the groups and each person should at least give one answer.
Press conference:
The workshop has hosted an Accelerated Learning trainer who held a press conference and answered many important questions such as:
1- How to get use of Accelerated Learning in self-developing skills (reading, studying, communicating, and leadership...”
2- How to apply Accelerated Learning to primary school students although there are 8 subjects a day, and each subject lasts about 45 minutes, there are subjects performed just in 25 minutes"
3- What are the weak points of Accelerated Learning?
4- How long does it take to prepare an integrated course using Accelerated Learning Techniques within the duration of the lecture?
5- How can companies get use of Accelerated Learning in developing the institution or the company?
6- How can Accelerated Learning Techniques be used in a lecture attended by 100 or 200 or more?
7- Do you depend on Accelerated Learning techniques for skill training and value implantation?
Workshop-certificates distribution:
For the first time at Dubai Center for Accelerated Learning, certificates have been distributed from the second day of the workshop until the end of the course, without celebrations. It is an open, clear message consisting of two points: the first one is; eliminating any kind of stress caused by the final exam( because stress lessens the standard of learning)
The second is that the certificate is important, but not as much as learning. Let learning be for self-improving goals not just for the certificate.
Integration and achievement tree:
This is the real festival; orange-shaped cards are distributed, on which learners write down what they've learned throughout the workshop, and how to apply that to their practical life.
How beautiful the tree becomes when it's filled with real results, especially when learners share their achievements and read what they've come up with.
Moments full of enthusiasm, achievement, and motivation, especially when trainer Mohammad Pedra has thanked everyone. These are the results of cooperation and cheerfulness...
The end of the workshop:
It was an impressive end. A recorded video about the workshop from its beginning till the end has been displayed. After the show, everyone expected this is the end but the trainer surprises them by opening a new learning workshop.
He distributed some tests to be worked on. At the time he goes out from the class, he indicates that the class didn't end and it won't, and they should keep on…
