    Learning is a process of creating knowledge, not consuming it. For learners to have a chance to incorporate knowledge un their own experience, and reproduce it in a creative way, we need to give them the chance to be fully involved in the process, physically, emotionally and intellectually.

    No effective learning can take place without appealing to a personal goal in the learner. Learners need to know what effect will learning have k=on their lives so they are able to set their goals.

    Collaboration between learners speeds learning, and competition hinders it. Peer learning is most of the time the most effective way of learning. Most effort must be focused on building a functioning learning society.
